An Accident & Emergence Project
Fowle Hall Features 3, Paddock Wood

In a work that referenced her own loss the artist chose to place this installation in an orchard – a place of gentleness and fecundity.

Utilising the elements, different wind speeds elicited differing movements – from the stillness of a light breeze to the ferocity of high wind. The work was an investigation of the emotional roller coaster of bereavement – the white moths an allusion to both nursery mobiles and the ancient belief that words can be borne on the wind.
