Ceramic maquette for proposed life sized bronze, shown as part of Roots, a group show interrogating family roots and history.
The work commemorated the artist’s grandfather who died in Riga concentration camp in 1942.
It was conceived as an exploration of the way this one act had influenced four successive generations.
